What is a Committee de mama?
The following specialties are involved in the treatment of breast cancer: Gynaecology, Reconstructive Surgery, Radiology, Pathology, Oncology and Nuclear Medicine.
Profemina's medical director, Dr. Paul Raas, is a member of the breast committee that meets at the Hospital Quirón Palmaplanas. This committee is made up of specialists from all fields who have specialised in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer over the years.
All our breast cancer patients are presented to the committee and individually assessed, and the best possible treatment is proposed.
